ANNOUNCING A NEW SPORT FOR 2009-2010
ACM GOLF TEAM

GolfAllegany College of Maryland would like to introduce the ACM Golf Team! The golf team is open to all students interested in competing on a collegiate level. Tryouts will be held this coming fall with the competitive season beginning spring 2010. The ACM Golf Team will be part of the Maryland JUCO Athletic Conference.

Professional Golf Management, a one - year certificate, is designed for those individuals who wish to pursue a career in the golf industry.  Those who successfully complete this program can become part of a growing golf industry.  The industry's goal is to develop the game of golf through efficient business practices, developmental programs, and the general promotion of the sport.  This program will provide the additional avenue for the student whose career interest is more in line with golf management.  This program may be completed in one fall and spring semester with a summer internship.  This is a career program and is designed to enable students to seek employment at the program's completion.
